Training for the 5K

Last week I finally went to the gym--with a new workout partner--Samantha (a gal from church).  I walked and ran a little on the treadmill for about 1 hour and I almost finished the whole 5K in that time (which I was very proud of myself)!  I think the exact mileage was 2.87 or something like that!  I have to say I didn't think that I was going to be able to do this 5K in enough time and feel "good" about it! 


I am so excited to get back on the treadmill and see if I can complete the whole 5K under 60 minutes!  That is my goal--which for a gal of my size is pretty good I think!
